Slime (PV alcohol Method) [4% poly vinyl alcohol solution, 4% borax solution]
Solution A 40 grams PVA per liter of deionized water.
Solution B 40 grams Borax per liter of deionized water.
Solution A Prep....slowly, little by little the Mix PVA dry into cool water stirring rapidly (use Heavy duty Magnetic stir, if available) heat slowly and watch carefully untill the dry PVA (poly vinyl Alcohol) goes into solution. ( this may take 15-20 minutes and may occur at temperatures about 90 degrees Celius, Do Not let this solution Boil over or a Major sticky mess will result.) Once solution clears as PVA dissolves remove Solution A from heat source and allow to cool to room temperature. Store Solution A in a Ground glass stoppered flask, it keeps for a very long time I've never had a slime prep. solution go bad, even those one year old.
Solution A is now complete, Solution B is very simple.
Solution B Prep....slowly, 40 grams of Borax (Sodium Borate) to one liter of deionized or distilled water, stir till borax dissolves ( about five minutes) Store Solution B in a ground glass stoppered flask, it keeps for a very long time I've never had a slime solution go bad, even those one year old.
Mix in 5 to 1 ratio (PVA) poly vinyl alcohol Solution A (5) to (1) part borax Solution B, stir, add color and WAH_LAH! Instant Slime!
Completed Slime will dry out, so if you wish it to last keep it in an air-tight jar or container. Do Not get on clothing, or your choice of coloring agents may stain. Slime will get dirty if dropped on the floor, so respect your slime. Do not flush, or put down a drain. Disposal methods include allowing to dry out and tossing the dry husk into the trash, or passing it on to a friend, you never have enough slime. 8 )

(The Elmers Glue Method)

But, Dr. Slime I can't find Borax! OK! I get my Borax from 20 Mule Team Borax "brand Name" Natural Laundry Booster, its chemical name is Sodium Borate Decahydrate. I got 5 Lbs. 4oz for $3.29 truely a life time supply at a bargin price.
Mix homebrewed slime in a 1 to 1 ratio for each volume of A add and equal portion of B. Sir, add color and WAH_LAH! Instant Homebrewed Slime!
(Note this Slime is opaque, and spoils faster than Type one Institutional Slime so keep it in a sealed air/moisture tight container a Zip-lock Bag*Tm will do.)

Always Bewary of Chemicals! Wear Proper Saftey Equipment, Never Eat or Handle food before washing your Hands...
