The Delta College
Panetarium & Learning Center Staff would like to
welcome you and your students/g to our facility. We
opened our doors to the public in early February, 1997,
and are ce3:00 pm, at least
two weeks in advance. A confirmation letter and map
will be sent to you. Please

Cancellation
- A minimum of one week notice is required for any
cancellation during
the fall / winter/ spring school season.
Failure to cancel in advance will result in being
charged a $75.00 fee. Schools closed due to weather
or other verifiable reason acceptable to Delta College
will be allowed to reschedule without penaltiy.
Payment
is due prior to or on the day of your scheduled program.

Private
Shows - Group Rates - Individual Ticket Prices
$4.00 - Students and children (ages 3 - 18)
$4.00 - Delta College Student (currently enrolled)
$5.00 - Adult (ages 19 - 59)
$4.00 - Senior (ages 60+)
For private groups of 26 or more persons, ticket prices
are $4.00 per person, regardless of age.
$100.00
Minimum charge per show for all private groups with
numbers of 20 or less. Please call if you need further
clarification.
Payment

The
Planetarium & Learning Center does not have public
eating facilities. In good weather, you may picnic in
Wenona Park across the street. Food, gum, candy
and drinks are never allowed in the theater.
Souvenirs,
educational materials, and other interesting
items are available in our gift shop. Teachers
will find a variety of merchandise appropriate
for classroom use. Students on a budget will find
treasures priced as low as a quarter. A
limit of ten students are allowed in the Gift
Shop at any one time. Be sure to allow enough
time after the program for browsing.
Have
a 1st and 2nd choice of possible dates/times and
shows, allowing one hour per program with additional
time to visit the gift shop if desired.
Reservation
information needed:
Grade
level.
Number
of students, adults, seniors in group.
Name
of person in charge of group.
School/organization
name, address & phone number.
Preferred
dates and times (1st & 2nd choices).
Any
special needs of your students or members.
Before
you come:
Arrange
for 1 adult chaperone for every 10 students. Teachers/chaperones
are required to supervise groups at all times.
Review
expected behavior with your group.
Collect
admission fees prior to your arrival. Please make
checks payable to Delta College.
When you arrive,
please:
Allow
at least 15 minutes before the scheduled program
start time. More than one group may be seeing
the same show & groups arriving late will
not be seated.
Person/s
in charge of group must check in at Gift Shop
to verify numbers & pay fees.
Enter
building at the Water Street main entrance (across
from Wenona Park). Busses may drop groups off
at this door. Water Street in Bay City is a two
way street and signs indicate the best location
for bus loading and unloading of students.
Dispose
of all gum, candy, food & beverages prior
to entering the building.
Attend
to personal needs prior to being seated in the
planetarium theater.
Due
to dark conditions during the program, anyone
who leaves will not be readmitted. Chaperones
must supervise students using restrooms.
