3.       Read the information carefully and take notes.

4.        Your writing assignment is ultimately to produce an effective planning proposal for the date indicated on the
                        "Assignments" calendar (not this week).  Students picked the thesis during the last unit, and this week, should
                        begin to write their proposal based on the outline on pg.  585-586.  Students must use this format.  Eliminate the
                        Roman numerals, letters, etc. and use only the headings within the paper.  This is exactly the format to follow
                        for producing this paper.  For complete information on writing the proposal, see  Eng. 113 Proposal Guidelines

                        Blackboard.
    5.    In the Discussion Board section, under the appropriate thread (posted question with a linked list of
                        responses),  post your answer  to the question below  and also, be sure to respond twice to other classmates'
                        posts.

                       QUESTION:  Since you have already chosen a planning proposal topic, explain how you will use the
                        information obtained from this week's readings,  i.e. format, etc. to produce a more effective, persuasive
                        proposal for your audience.  How do you make a planning proposal interesting and relevant to a particular
                        client?  Classmates  comment on the ideas generated and add additional examples, observations, etc.
