1.       Read Chapters 3, 4, and 5 of Technical Communication carefully.

 2.      Visit the following link for lecture reading :  Unit 2 Lecture
 3.     Read the information carefully and take notes.

 4.      Your writing assignment will be to follow the directions on page 36 of Lannon's Technical Communication
                       for exercise 2.  The problem is to identify a specific problem in your job that could cause difficulty for a
                       new employee.  Please follow all the instructions in the assignment and send me a copy of your results by the
                       due  date in memo format.  If you have trouble identifying such a problem where you work (or perhaps have worked),
                       contact  me at  least three days prior to the due date.

5.         In the Discussion Board section, under the appropriate thread (posted question with a linked list of
                       responses),  post your answer  to the question below  and also, be sure to respond twice to other classmates'
                       posts.  Visit the site  Online Ethics. Read and answer at least ten of the mini-case studies.  Choose your
                       answer, then view the responses for the other answers as well. Then, answer the  question below.

                      QUESTION:  Using a specific case (be sure you identify it) from Online Ethics as an example, discuss why you
                      agree or disagree with the analysis of the ethical options.  Classmates comment and state specifically what you
                      agree or disagree on, etc.
