Eng. 113:  Fall 2004 Assignments

The agenda below, compiled of readings, assignments, and posts, shows what should be finished on that day.  Consult your Syllabus and Welcome for additional information regarding posting and assignments.   In an online course, work well ahead of time if possible, particularly regarding written work.  If written, assignments must be received by that date at midnight.  If it is a post, it must be posted by no later than midnight of that day for credit. Occasionally, you may have two posts due in one week.  For the instructor to comment on the post, the the post must be on the Discussion Board no later than Tuesday midnight, before the Thursday midnight due date. All deadlines should be completed by EST Michigan time.

Classes begin Aug. 30.   Students should familiarize themselves with manipulating within the Blackboard course, participate in the online orientation at Online Orientation  (very important), and correct any technical or enrollment problems.

• Post a check in and hello message at the Discussion Board; please include your area of study and state you have read the orientation. The posts WILL count for credit.  You need to post three times (one to the question, and two to classmates) If you have orientation or any class information questions, please ask them on the Discussion Board.

• Posts  due (Respond to teacher's posted question at Blackboard's Discussion Board.  Post at least three times: once on your response to the questions and twice by commenting on others' comments.  If you post later than Tuesday, the Instructor will not have enough time to comment before the final Thursday midnight due date.)
