3.  Read the information carefully, and take notes of important points.

4.        Think carefully about the highlights of the text and lecture. The Writing Proecss is just
             that--a process.  Learning about the most effective methods of thesis statements, outlining,
             determining your own writing style, and choosing a format with a specific audience in mind are
             key elements of this unit.
5.    In the Classroom Discussion Board area, under the appropriate thread, discuss your approach
             to the writing process.  What are the steps that you take to produce a finished, final paper?
             Please be specific and use examples.  The first posts should answer this question in detail.  Then,
             post two or more specific responses to your classmates' posts.
