FALL
2004 Eng. 1111. I WILL NOT be able to respond to email, if you have questions, before Aug. 30. Do not call the college or my secretary, please. I guarantee that I will respond to you then. Send email to: Patricia Hutchins
2. After you have been enrolled, Jane Adams, Distance Learning is the only person who can enroll a student by the way, and have a user id and password, go immediately to the Assignments Section; read what work is due for the Thursday due date. Also, perform the Online Orientation by clicking on the link in the Announcements section. During the semester, send assignments to me via e-mail as an attached RTF (Rich Text File, see "Orientation" and "External Links") file (write, make a file, and attach). Do not use the Digital Drop Box in BB. In the Subject/Re field of your email, always put Eng 111 and the topic, i.e. Eng. 111 Question or Eng. 111 Narration Assignment. We may have more than one due date per week (just as if we would meet in a face-to-face class). You can have more than one written assignment, readings, AND more than one post due during a one week period. Be sure of due dates. If I do not respond to you stating that I received your assignment/email within 24 hours, it is your responsibility, please, to resend the information immediately. I always acknowledge receipt of any assignments.
