Preparing
for the Semester
Approximately two weeks before the semester begins, information will
be sent to both your home and your Delta College e-mail account letting
you know how to access your eLearning course and your course orientation
information.
 |
If your home address or phone number on file at Delta College
is out of date, you will miss important course information. To
update your account please contact the Records & Registration
Office. |
 |
Messages will be sent to your Delta College e-mail account
from our office, as well as, your instructors. This will take
you directly to your e-mail log in screen. E-mail uses the same
username and password as MyDelta and Educator. |
 |
MyDelta allows students to register,
get a class schedule, access your grades, make payments and much
more. If you don't know your Delta College username and password
or need to update your password, you can do so here. Passwords
expire every 122 days. |
 |
eLearning courses require textbooks and occasionally study
guides. You can see what books you need and order your books
online through the bookstore's web site. |
 |
Some eLearning courses have face-to-face orientations
on campus. If your course has one, you can find the date, time,
and location here. This site will also note if there is an online
orientation only. |
 |
Not sure if your computer's set up for an eLearning course?
Here you can find a list of hardware and software requirements
and recommendations plus links to free software you may need
for your class and a test to see if your computer meets those
recommendations. |
 |
Educator is the program used for all of Delta College's eLearning
courses. On the start date for your class, you will be able to
log in to your class using your username and password for MyDelta.
You can also sign in to view the online orientation. |
 |
The Library Learning Information
Center (LLIC) is where you
can get video and audio programs for TNET courses. The LLIC also
contains computer labs where you do your eLearning classwork
while on campus, the Teaching/Learning
Center (T/LC) where
you can receive tutoring and other study support, and the Academic
Testing Center (ATC) where you take your exams if your course
uses on-campus exams. |
