CST-133: Computer Concepts and Competencies
Presents the terminology needed to become computer literate
including hardware, software and connectivity. Reviews the
analysis and design of computer systems and their effect on our
lives. Introduces micro and mini computers, different operating
systems, and Windows applications: word processing, e-mail,
spreadsheets, database, graphics, and programming.
Four semester hours: two hours lecture and two hours in a
lab setting each week.

* Please note: In the computer labs that have the zip drive
present, the drive letter for the USB device will be "G:". If the
computer does not have a zip drive, the drive letter for the USB
device will be "F:".
* When working with your lab assignments, references to the "G:"
drive may actually be referring to a USB device connected to the
"F:" drive or some other drive designation. (Based on above).
* If this drive letter designation causes you confusion, please
talk to your instructor.
