Baker, who died on February 13, 2012; and an exclusive interview with the talented and beautiful Jessica Reedy.

The guests on the show include a performance by of the play The African Saga by students from the First Ward Community Center in Saginaw LACER program; an interview with Kendrick Kemp, Coordinator of the Saginaw Promise scholarship program; an important report on cyber bullying by Delta College student Isis Simpson; and a performance by the phenomenal Saginaw Valley Voices.

Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha talk about the sorority's history as they gear up for the Saginaw chapter's 50th anniversary. You will also hear the Dr. Martin Luther King 2012 Regional Scholarship recipients recite excerpts from one of Dr. King's speeches.

In the spirit of the season, we feature Christmas music from three area churches: Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Saginaw, Second Baptist Church in Bay City, and St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Saginaw. We also talk to two Delta College students about the transition from high school to college life.

As Kappa Alpha Psi celebrates 100 years of service and achievement, we speak to several members of the Saginaw chapter about their impact on the Great Lakes Bay Region. We also speak to Arnesha Stanley, owner of Sweet Creations in Saginaw. We look at St. Luke's CME Church's annual state rally, where congregation members display the history of their home state in a friendly competition. Finally, Ariel Luckey shares his personal family experience by highlighting the connections between race, class, and land in America.
