Runners have something new to look forward to. The Midland Community Center's Dow Run Walk is teaming up with the inaugural marathon race in the area, The Qualifier, to create the most exciting racing weekend in Michigan. The weekend of May 19 and 20 will allow runners to choose a distance that's right for them.
If you are looking at competing in at 5K or 10K, or if they want your children to experience what it's like to compete in a fun filled event, The Midland Community Center's Dow Run Walk is the event for you.
If you're interested in competing in your first marathon, or would like to try to qualify for Boston or New York, The Qualifier is the event for you.
The Qualifier begins at Dow Diamond in Midland and runs through Saginaw and Bay Counties to the finish line in Downtown Bay City. If the half marathon is your race, it begins at Delta College and ends in Downtown Bay City.
