As President Obama and his advisors debate how many troops to send to Afghanistan, the U.S. diplomat to Afghanistan is arguing against further deployment until President Karzai's government proves it can be stable and free of corruption. Max Baucus (D-MT) announced a reworked Senate health care bill. The bill proposes nonprofit insurance co-ops instead of a government-run insurance option, favored by President Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. more
